MOVEMENTS: Six Things You Should Know

YELLOW ZONES

Must movements be justified? Is a self-certification necessary?
A self-certification is not necessary from 5 am to 10 pm. From 10 pm to 5 am the next morning; it’s always necessary to show that one’s movements fall into the categories allowed.

Can I go to help a relative or a friend who is not self-sufficient?
Yes, it falls under survival needs, and no time limitation applies. From 10 pm to 5 am the next morning, a self-certification is always necessary.

I am separated/divorced, can I go visit my underage children?
Yes, you are allowed to go visit your underage children who reside with another parent or with a guardian. You are also allowed to move your children to your residence, even if they live in a different municipality.

Can I to go to church or to any other place of worship?
Yes, but only from 5 am to 10 pm.

If one lives in a municipality and works in another, can one go ‘back and forth’?
Yes.

Those who finds themselves away from their residence, domicile or home, can they return to it?
Yes.

ORANGE ZONES

Must movements be justified? Is a self-certification necessary?
From 5 am to 10 pm movements don’t have to justified, if they are limited to your municipality. To travel to other municipalities, and during the period from 10 pm to 5 am in your municipality of residence, you must prove that they fall within the grounds allowed by means of a written self-certification to be compiled in the forms that the local and state police have in their possession. 

Can one go to help a relative or a friend who is not self-sufficient?
Yes, it falls under the category of survival needs, and no time limitation applies.

I am separated/divorced, can I go visit my underage children?
Yes, you are allowed to go visit your underage children who reside with another parent or with a guardian. You are also allowed to move your children to your residence, even if they live in a different municipality.

Can I to go to church or to any other place of worship?
Yes, but only from 5 am to 10 pm. The same rules as the Red Zone apply to the time period from 10 pm to 5 am.

If one lives in a municipality and works in another, can one go ‘back and forth’?
In this instance if one is unable to work at home, moving is warranted by the necessity to work.

Those who finds themselves away from their residence, domicile or home, can they return to it?
Yes, you will be able to return to your residence only once. After the initial time, moves will be allowed only for the following reasons: job requirements, survival needs, study or health, or to avail yourself of services not found in one’s municipality (ex: To go to the post office or to shop for necessities, if those services are not available where one resides.)

RED ZONES

Must movements be justified? Is a self-certification necessary?

You must be able to prove that your move falls within the grounds allowed by means of a written self-certification to be compiled in the forms that the local and state police have in their possession.

Can one go to help a relative or a friend who is not self-sufficient?
Yes, it falls under the category of survival needs.

I am separated/divorced, can I go visit my underage children?
Yes, you are allowed to go visit your underage children who reside with another parent or with a guardian. You are also allowed to move your children to your residence, even if they live in a different municipality.

Can I to go to church or to any other place of worship?
It’s allowed to go to a place of worship nearest your home; movement must be limited to the immediate vicinity of your domicile. Access to places of worship is allowed provided that gatherings are avoided, and that interpersonal safety distance of at least one meter is maintained. Those times that you move for work or survival needs, you can go to a place of worship that is along the route. Religious services attendance is allowed.

If one lives in a municipality and works in another, can one go ‘back and forth’?
In this instance if one is unable to work at home, moving is warranted by the necessity to work.

Yes, you will be able to return to your residence only once. REGIONAL LOCKDOWNS: INFORMATION AND SELF-CERTIFICATION FORMS

CALABRIA

Starting on October 23 it is prohibited to move throughout the region from midnight to 5 a.m. the following morning with the exception of :

✔ movements necessary for work;
✔ movements due to emergencies, special needs or health reasons.

CAMPANIA

Starting on October 23 it is prohibited to move from the province where one resides to other provinces with the exception of :

✔ movements necessary for work;
✔ movements necessary for verified family reasons;
✔ movements necessary for educational reasons;
✔ movements due to emergencies, special needs or health reasons.

LAZIO

Starting on the night of October 23, all movements during the night hours will not be permitted. This means from midnight to 5 a.m. the following morning with the exception of:

✔ workers who need to leave their home to reach the place of work and vice versa;

Use Of Face Mask Becomes Mandatory

The October 7 th Law Decree makes mandatory to carry at all times the personal safety devices that protect the respiratory system. Face masks must be worn at all times:

  • when in closed spaces with the exception of one’s home
  • on the outside.

The wearing of a face mask is not mandatory in the following instances:

  • children less than six years old
  • people who have pathologies or disabilities that are not compatible with wearing a face mask
  • while engaging in physical activity.

Individuals in Stay At Home Isolation

GUIDELINES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN STAY AT HOME ISOLATION AND FOR THE PARENTS WHO ASSISTS THEM

Below the Ministry of Health’s practical suggestions for those who are in stay at home isolation e for those who assists them. It is important not only to guarantee the well being of who is sick, but also the health of those who share the same quarters must be safeguarded.

  • Make sure that who is sick rests a lot, drinks plenty of liquids and eats nutritious food.
  • Always wear a surgical face mask when you are in the room with the person who is ill. Do not touch your face or face mask while wearing it, and throw it away right after.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water (scrubbing for at least 60s) or with a solution containing alcohol, in the specific:
    • after any kind of contact with the person ill or with any of the objects in the isolation room
    • before, during and after preparing meals
    • before eating
    • after having gone to the toilet.
  • Use dishes, cutlery, towels and sheets set aside exclusively for the person who is ill.
  • Wash the patient’s clothes, sheets, towels, etc. at 60° – 90° with normal soap and dry accurately.
  • Every day clean and disinfect surfaces often touched by the individual who is ill.
  • The bathroom must be used only by the individual who is positive, or sanitized with disinfectants that are alcohol based every time it has been used. Mask and gloves must be worn while doing it.
  • If the condition of the individual worsen or he/she has difficulty breathing call 112 or 118.
  • People positive for Covid-19 with symptoms can rejoin the community after a 10 day period of isolation from the disappearance of the symptoms as well as a negative molecular test done after at least three days without symptoms (10 days, with at least 3 without symptoms + test)
  • Those who have had close contact must undergo:
    • A period of isolation lasting 14 days from the last exposure to the virus; or
    • A period of isolation lasting 10 days from the last exposure accompanied by a negative molecular or antigenic test done on the 10th day.

TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE
Do it every day before you go out. If your temperature is higher than 37,5°C or you have Covid-19-like symptoms, stay at home and call the doctor.

WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN
And use hand sanitizers available into your school.

FOLLOW THE SIGNS
Entrance and exit are separated: follow the instructions provided by your school.

DOWNLOAD THE IMMUNI APP
If you are at least 14 years old, download it right now. The App allows detecting possible exposure to Covid-19.

KEEP THE DISTANCE
Avoid any crowding. Always keep at least one meter of distance from other people.

WEAR A FACE MASK
Always wear it if you are in movement or if you stay in common areas. When you are seated at the desk, if one meter distance is respected, you can take it off. For children under 6 years of age, it is not demanded.

GET INFORMED ABOUT HOW TO ACCESS
Only one accompanying person per student is allowed. You can find information on access rules on the school website.

October 26 DPCM: Italy Declares a Semi-lockdown

URGENT MEASURES TO CONTAIN CURRENT SURGE GO INTO EFFECT THROUGHOUT THE NATION

From October 26 to November 24 the following measures are in effect:

MOVEMENTS

It is strongly advised that no one move neither with public transport or private vehicles with the exception of the following:

✔Movements related to work, education and health, special needs or participation in activities that have not been barred.

SPORTS

✔Outdoor individual sports and physical activity is allowed but an interpersonal safety distance of two meters must always be implemented;

✗ Activities carried out in gyms, swimming pools and acqatic centers, health clubs, spas are not allowed with the exception of those that are part of treatment plan;

✗ Contact sports and all competitions are not allowed, as well as all events and activities connected to contact sports, even those that are non professional and reacreational;

✔Outdoor grassroots sports and physical activity carried out in public or private athletic facilities and sport clubs are allowed if the interpersonal safety distance is respected and no gatherings ensue;

✔The only team and individual sport events and competions allowed are those with a proven national or regional interest as defined by the National Olympic Committee (CONI.)

RIGHT TO ASSEMBLY

✔Demonstrations can be held if they respect the interpersonal safety distance and are held in-place.

CINEMAS AND THEATRES

✗ All shows open to the public and held in cinemas, theathers, concert halls are suspended even if they are outdoors.

ARCADES AND DISCOS

✗ All activities held in bingo halls, betting parlors, casinos, and arcades are suspended;

✗ All activities held in discos, ballrooms, clubs are suspended whether indoors or outdoors.

CELEBRATIONS AND FESTIVALS

✗ Outdoor and indoor celebrations are not allowed. This includes religious and civil cerimonies;

✗ It is strongly advised not to receive guests at home except for reasons of work and special and urgent needs;

✗ Festival and fairs are still not allowed.

MUSEUMS, CONFERENCES AND TRADE SHOWS

✔Museums and cultural institutions remain open, interpersonal safety distance must be respected;

✔Access to places of worship is guaranteed, interpersonal safety distance must be respected;

✗ Conventions and conferences are suspended.

SCHOOLS

✔Attendance at kindergardens, primary and secondary schools will continue;

✔High schools will elevate long distance teaching to 75%. The Regions have the option to increase it to 100%;

✓ entry and exit times must also be changed through afternoon shifts: it will not be possible to enter in the classrooms before 9 am;

✗ School trips are still suspended.

CLUBS, COFFEE SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS

✔Coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pastry shops and any other place that serves food will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

✔Table service is allowed up to a maximum of 4 people, unless they belong to the same household;

✗ Intake of food and drinks in public places and in those open to the public will stop at 6 p.m.

✔Home delivery service is allowed till midnight (except where a local lockdown is in effect,) takeaway service is allowed, but not in-place consumption;

✔Shops will remain open, but they must guarantee an interpersonal safety distance of at least one meter, and stagger the entries;

✔In public places and shops it’s mandatory to display an entrance sign with the maximum number of people allowed inside at the same time.
