Places are still available for the CLICI Summer School, the intensive Italian language and culture course organised by CLICI – Centre for Italian Language and Culture – of the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’.

The CLICI Summer School, which will take place from 8 to 20 July 2024, aims to offer participants from all over the world the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Italian language and culture, by organising an intensive course that includes lessons to improve language skills and cultural-tourist itineraries in and around Rome.

The places available are only for those in possession of documentation certifying political refugee status, for whom the CLICI Summer School – Full Programme course is free of charge (they do not have to pay any enrolment fee).

Availability is limited, so the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of chronological order of registration.

Rome: the ‘Inhabiting the city competently’ project launched

The project ‘Abitare la città in modo competente’ (‘Living in the city in a competent way’), dedicated to asylum seekers and holders of international protection (adults, minors and new adults) domiciled in the Municipality of Rome and with a good knowledge of the Italian language, has been launched.

The project envisages the activation of free courses to reinforce technical-professional and digital skills, define professional objectives and look for work effectively (also with the possibility of job placement or accompaniment to self-entrepreneurship), provide support in the search for sustainable housing solutions.

The first two training courses will last 30 hours each, and will focus on the development of digital skills, specifically
