Applications are now open for the call promoted by Mosaico – Azioni per i Rifugiati, supported by Fondazione Lavazza, and dedicated to refugee artists, asylum seekers, and current or former holders of international protection. 
The initiative is part of the second edition of the project “I Do Not Give Up on My Dreams”, included in the program of the International Week of Rights, Environment and Cultures organized for World Refugee Day.
The call is open to adults working in the fields of painting and poetry.
Four artists will be selected:
- 2 for the Painting section;
- 2 for the Poetry section.
Selected participants will receive:
- a €1,200 grant intended for artistic materials, training, or creative development;
- participation in an artistic and cultural program taking place from June 13 to June 20, 2026, with travel, accommodation, and meals covered by the organization.
The program includes:
- introductory meetings and creative workshops in Turin;
- an artistic residency at Orsolina28 Art Foundation in Moncalvo, led by artist and performer Valerie Tameu;
- co-creation activities aimed at producing a collective artwork;
- participation in public events connected to World Refugee Day in Turin.

Applications must include:
- completed application form;
- valid identity document and/or residence permit;
- portfolio or proposed artwork:
- image and technical description for the Painting section;
- unpublished text in PDF format for the Poetry section.
Applicants must also be available for an interview between May 20 and May 28, 2026, and be present in Turin from June 13 to June 20, 2026.
