COOK & RESTART is a vocational training pathway oriented towards job placement, which is aimed at young migrants – wishing to become protagonists in Italian society – and at companies looking for qualified workers.

Recipients

10 young migrants, men and women, aged between 18 (by the end of 2024) and 35.

Duration

1 month
Course start: 22 April 2024
Course end date: 22 May 2024

Days and times: every weekday from 14:30 to 18:30

Application deadline: 11 April 2024

Admission interviews will take place on 16 and 17 April.

Documentary requirements

– Possession of a residence permit allowing work.

Other requirements

– good knowledge of the Italian language
– strong motivation.

Course venue

at the IPSEOA (Istituto Professionale di Stato per l’Enogastronomia e l’OspitalitàAlberghiera), in the premises at Via di Tor Carbone, 53.

Programme

PIZZERIA COURSE (56 hours). You will learn and practise the basic techniques of this art. Qualified teachers will demonstrate the various phases of pizza-making. Some days will be dedicated to cooking, for the preparation of pizza toppings and some simple dishes;

TRAINING AND THE HACCP CERTIFICATE;

BRIEF TRAINING ON WORKING IN ITALY (12 hours). It will present the principles and values of Italy and notions on contracts and safety, provide a glossary for the kitchen, explain how to look for work in this sector and what are the most in-demand transversal skills. A certificate of participation will be issued at the end.
