Viterbo: Training Course for “Agricultural Production Supply Chain Operator in the Tuscia Area (SOLEIL)

This training program aims to develop skills and professional expertise in the agricultural production sector of the Tuscia area, with a special focus on

 Biodistricts.
The course is designed to support participants in:

  • Improving product quality throughout all stages of the supply chain (from production to processing)
  • Promoting high-quality local products and enhancing their connection to the territory
  • Developing and managing quality in agro-food production processes, in compliance with current regulations

At the end of the course, participants will be able to work within agricultural production processes, managing local crop systems through effective planning and promotion of typical products, while applying environmentally sustainable practices.

The program includes a training internship hosted by companies in the agricultural sector located in the Province of Viterbo.

The course also aims to deepen knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Main production and operational processes in the agro-food supply chain
  • Properties and characteristics of raw materials, ingredients, and food products
  • Fundamentals of food science and technology
  • Traceability and labeling of agro-food products
  • National and European regulations for agro-food businesses and supply chains
  • Quality certification protocols
  • Hygiene and sanitation procedures

The course provides a certificate of attendance and is structured in two phases:

  • Phase 1 – Classroom training: 100 hours
  • Phase 2 – Internship: 100 hours

Total duration: 200 hours

Listening and support space for migrant minors and young people

U-Report On The Move is a safe space where you can receive legal support and also talk, freely and safely, about your feelings, your problems and whatever is worrying you.
A trained professional listens to you and helps you find the right support for your needs.
The service is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00.
